Meeting Shauna and Devon changed our lives!!!
Shauna did an amazing job with my 9 month old (140lb) Mastiff, Potato. Before bootcamp, he was completely unmanageable. Potato and my older dog started fighting when Potato was 6 months old. It got so bad that they couldn’t be in the same room. Thankfully I met Shauna!!!!
After 6 weeks of bootcamp for Potato and private lessons in my home for the older dog, they are both completely different dogs. Peace has been restored!!!!!! Both dogs are happier and getting along better than I could have imagined.
Both Shauna and Devon had excellent communication throughout the program, I received weekly updates and pictures of Potato during training. They even took Potato on outings to restaurants and parks.

I had my HYPER rescue dog about two months before I finally truly realized I didn’t have the skills to set the proper foundation for her. It was clear she hadn’t had ANY training in her previous homes. I sent her to Shauna’s bootcamp, and what a difference it’s made. My girl still has tons of energy but she recognizes structure now and is settling into our easy going household. With the foundation that Shauna’s built, most of my job is simply applying Shauna’s rules consistently. Before bootcamp I thought I might lose my mind. After bootcamp, she’s 100% manageable. I also sent my older (but still young) dog to Shauna for the last part of training for some cooperative training. I can walk both of my dogs at the same time! Before I couldn’t get five houses down the street before I’d have to abort the mission – it was like herding cats. My two-dog household is now totally manageable.

What an amazing experience! My dog is much more well mannered and obedient, not to mention more social, after attending her training course. I received everything I asked for and more. And Shauna is available for questions and guidance even after the training is finished. We adopted an abandoned and traumatized dog and needed a place for training and boarding. While our little dog has finally adapted to our home and now trusts us, she is still fearful of other people. We were very worried about leaving her somewhere when we have to travel, and another trainer recommended Shauna. And I can’t tell you how grateful we are for that tip!!! Shauna has been absolutely wonderful in helping our poor little dog get used to people and a real home. She has provided spot on advice for every issue we have had in training (our dog is terrified of a leash, for example). And while we know it will take a long time for our dog to get over the trauma she suffered before we got her, we are now confident with Shauna’s help she will get there. Shauna is such a wealth of information about training but also about other important health and diet concerns for dogs. She has been such a lifesaver for us!

When my wife and I got our first dog, a Golden/Lab mix, we asked two vets and a K9PD trainer for recommendations on boarding and training. Shauna was the only trainer mentioned by all three, and she did not disappoint. Starting with private basic obedience lessons, she had our puppy house trained, heeling on a leash, and following basic commands in four weeks. We followed that with a board and train program in which our puppy learned down/stay, socialization, tricks, and is working towards a therapy dog certification.
Shauna also boarded and training our German Shepard, working him through basic obedience and had him evaluated as a protection dog.
We have been using Shauna for nearly three years and cannot say enough good things about her professionalism, passion for her work, and ability to bring out the best in your dog.

Being in the pet industry for over 15 years I had always been hesitant to trust anyone with my own dogs. I own 3 bulldogs who need to be monitored while they play that they don’t over heat themselves which could be deadly for them. I also own a super-sized breed (Cane Corso) that needs a leader with a strong will and is not reluctant to take on her size and strength. When I found Shauna I was instantly taken with her positive personality and wonderful accommodations for both of my breeds. She boards my dogs monthly as well as trained my Cane Corso with stellar results! Shauna is the only person that I trust to care for and train my dogs while I am away. I drive an hour to put my dogs in her care and it is well worth the drive and the peace of mind when I have to leave them. I also recommend her to all of my clients as well! Shauna is a gem and has become a good friend too! My dogs absolutely adore her and get so excited when we pull into her driveway! Definitely check her business out. I never worry about my dogs while they are in her loving care.
